Not on viewThe gho is a traditional robe worn by Bhutanese men. The warp of this raw silk robe consists of yellow and multicolored stripes. Within the yellow stripes are alternating red and black designs woven using the floating weft technique.
This robe belonged to a "red scarf officer" (dasho). Traditional etiquette requires such an officer to wear a red scarf on his left shoulder on formal occasions, together with a sword suspended on a sword belt with silver fittings.
