In Cry of Nature (2) the dark-colored wash creates a sense of bleakness. As well, broken ink strokes create a sense of violence suggesting sweeping winds.
Artist Biography:
Raymond Fung Wing Kee was trained as an architect. He later devoted his efforts to the Chinese ink painting movement in Hong Kong, of which he was a founding member.
