Not on viewThis is a collaborative work of the two famous contemporary artists, a potter and a painter, in the presence of Chung Yang-mo. The dish is made by Min Young-ki who is well known for his buncheong inspired pieces. After Min covers the dish he has made with white slip, Chun Sung-woo, an abstract painter, paints the tall pine tree in iron-oxide. The dish, then, was glazed and fired. The pine tree here might represent Chung Yang-mo, their dear friend, for whom the dish was made.
