Not on viewThousands of small covered boxes of different shapes and sizes were part of the cargo of the Hội An shipwreck. When the excavators recovered these ceramics, they attempted to pair each lid to its matching bottom, an impossible task. What were these small containers used for? We don’t really know, but some guesses include containers for cosmetics or spices.
