Kanjiro MoriyamaJapanese, b. 1984

He has graduated from the Arts and Crafts course, Faculty of Culture and Education Saga University. He studied under his father Motomi and is one of the young ceramic artist who is paid attention to Koishiwara Ware's kiln now.

The fashonable vessels which cast the aesthetic sense are highly evaluated with making use of the Koishiwara Ware's tradition. His attitude to the pottery is humility and new possibility is felt in his eccentric design found in object.

He won grand prix in the 45th Anniversary Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition. We are looking forward to spreading of his future style.
