ARTIST'S BIOGRAPHY
Feng Zhongrui was born in Nanyang, Henan province, and studied art in Taipei at the Political and Governmental Institute, from which he graduated in 1954. Feng established the Universal Institute for Painting in 1956, and became a member of the May Institute for Painting in 1961. He was honored as one of the ten best young artists at the Taipei International Commercial Institution in 1969, the year he started his career as an art designer at a TV station. Feng went to the University of Hawaii in 1970 to continue studying design. He immigrated to the continental United States in 1975 and now lives in California.
