More InformationThis poem describes the attractions of a mountain landscape; the pleasures of seeking qi (spiritual essence) in misty, rose-colored clouds; getting lost in pine-clad mountains; playing the zither (qin); and "reaching enlightenment in a forest by following one's heart." It is signed: "One of a series after visiting Qixia Temple, Jizuo." Qixia is a Buddhist temple built in the tenth century on a mountain of the same name in Jiangning county, Jiangsu province.
