More InformationFang Zhaoling was rightfully proud of her strength and vitality when, at age eighty-three, she created this large and boldly written calligraphy couplet.
The right scroll reads: Flowing water with bridges the road is surrounded by fragrant plants. The left scroll reads: Floating clouds, drizzly rain foster the universe.
Inscribed in smaller letters on the right: 1998, fourth month, tenth day
Inscribed in smaller letters on the left: Liangqi Fang Zhaoling at eighty-three years of age
