Not on viewThis hexagonal box with gracefully lobed edges has two tiers that are nearly identical and serve as the lid and base of the box. Colorful flowers in red, yellow, and green are painted delicately against a lustrous black lacquer background. They are painted in thin layers, accentuating the box’s facets in a lyrical rhythm.
